Before you can read your fortune, you should definitely enjoy your coffee! But be careful to stop drinking at the point where the liquid coffee gives way to the telve (which means 'dregs' but sounds so much nicer).
Once you've come to this point (and before the telve cools down), hold your cup by the handle, turn the saucer upside down, and put the saucer on top of the cup. Then hold the cup in front of you with your fingers on top and your thumb underneath.
Now move the cup and saucer in a clockwise circle in front of you three times (as in the photo on the right).
Next, turn the cup and saucer over in one smooth motion, and then put the cup down and let it cool. When the bottom of the cup is cool to the touch, slowly turn it over (you'll see something similar to the second photo on the right).
There are two incredibly important things to remember at this point! First of all, if it just looks like a lot of coffee to you, don't worry -- with patience and a little help from the T.C.C. book, you'll have the hang of it in no time. At the same time, you should never forget to trust your intuition when reading a cup of telve!
Basically, there four types of images to be found: animals, people, plants... and everything else. If you see the image of an animal, this probably reflects the emotions of the person you're doing the reading for. People, on the other hand, are more straightforward and in all likelihood just represent real people. The silhouette of a cleopatra or pharaoh, for instance, is most likely a sign of someone who's acting stuck up, or alternately, someone who needs some serious pampering!
